Fundraising

Weekday Office Support: Assist staff with filing, research, database entry, mailings, etc.

Photographer: Photograph build sites, special events, etc.

Special Event Staffing: Assist staff with short-term projects such as fundraisers and mission fairs.

Family Services 

Weekday Volunteer/Intern: Assist staff with various office duties.

Food Bank: Shop, stock shelves, and schedule appointments for our food bank.

Financial Counselors: Meet with families one-on-one to provide budget counseling. Financial Counseling sessions are held Saturday mornings and we ask you to commit to one morning (three hours) per month.

Other Volunteer Opportunities

Habitat ReStores: Volunteers are needed for customer assistance, repair and other tasks. Teenagers who are 14 and 15 can volunteer with an adult. Those 16 years of age and older can volunteer independently. Call 704.716.7040 ext. 2 to sign up or check out the Charlotte ReStore web site.

Real Estate Attorney: Volunteer attorneys help prepare titles for both the purchase of land by Habitat and the sale of the home to Habitat homeowners.

Greeter: Welcome and register volunteers at the construction site.

Charlotte ReStore

The ReStore takes in donations of new and used items such as furniture, building materials, and appliances, and resells those items to the public. All proceeds benefit Habitat for Humanity of Charlotte. Visit Site

Julia's Coffee & Used Books

Julia's Coffee, located next to the Wendover ReStore, is another fundraising division of Habitat Charlotte. They serve coffee (and coffee drinks), sandwiches, smoothies, pastries, and have a huge section of like-new books for sale. Visit Site
